In 1971 a third subsidiary to CHT R. BEITLICH GMBH was founded.
From our humble beginnings as Mutimex, our success quickly grew which led to our moving to larger premises in New Germany and later to the building of a new production plant in Westmead in 1995. Now operating under our new name Bytimex (Pty) Ltd t/a CHT South Africa, we extended our warehousing and administration to Cape Town.
CHT SOUTH AFRICA has a long history of being one of the major suppliers of chemicals to the textile industry in the sub-Saharan region, operating out of South Africa, and in 1998 extended our territory to Zimbabwe, namely CHT ZIMBABWE (PVT) LTD.
CHT SOUTH AFRICA has a staff compliment of 38 and not only manufacture chemicals, but manage our own warehousing and logistics and have a well-equipped laboratory to assist our valued customers with technical queries.
Being affiliated with CHT/ BEZEMA Group, we have a wealth of resources available which include specialist technical assistance and know-how. CHT SOUTH AFRICA's annual production of textile auxiliaries is in the region of 5000 tons. With high quality products, innovative power, world-wide representation and a sound financial base, CHT/ BEZEMA Group is well-prepared for the future.
